This sign might not be to everyone’s taste, but it was the funnest sign to make this year.

House Sign With Planets and Stars

For some reason, it never really got a good photo, so this is the best I can do. The sign has flat red letters, but each letter has a carved gold border. The stars are carved into the sign and gilded with palladium.

It was meant to look like a Mars Bar (that is, a UK one), and we certainly thought about eating chocolate a lot while we made it.

By the way, has anyone noticed that Amazon now sells food!
